“EDIT: 2026 - Wanted to give an update that my footage from ReelArc helped me sign with an Agent! Having quality footage over self-tape scenes TRULY makes a difference! ---------- If you're an actor in need of footage, Reelarc is the way to go! It's a great way to get specific scenes for your reel that showcase what YOU want. Reelarc can come up with a full concept & script, or you can write your own. You can choose different set options, lighting options, and even filming angles. The proof is in the QUALITY. This is not a paid review and I purchased a package like everyone else. But I just have to sing their praises to anyone who is on the fence about making the commitment to work with them! They also have a small team who work directly with you on the process from start to finish. No chaos of trying to talk to someone at a big company. I can't stress how effective it is to be able to directly talk to their staff. 10 out of 10 stars. Cannot recommend enough!”

“ReelArc is the bar that all other demo reel companies should reach to achieve. They are truly the GOLD standard! Everyone from the moment you walk onto the set makes you feel welcomed and at ease about your scene. You can feel the energy and the synergy of the team involved in the film. I felt well-supported from the early email stages with the patient and kind, Arianna and Vanessa of Reel Arc; to the sharp and inciteful direction by John Gionis and the unique detailed eye of our cinematographer, Ian Degner. It was an unexpedted and pleasant surprise meeting founder/owner Guy Chachkes on set and a joy meeting production coordinator, Mia Nell Rodriguez. I'm so glad that I cast the talented, Tim Walker Anderson as my scene partner since he was a seasoned ReelArc actor and gave me generous suggestions. I just had that overall feeling, that everyone wanted a successful demo reel film for me and that it went above and beyond my expectations!”

“Absolutely worth the money! The whole experience felt tailored to me and everyone was professional and courteous every step of the way. At every point of the process I was constantly checked in with to make sure I was getting the kind of material that fit *me*. Bryce was an amazing collaborative writer, Arianna a calm and organized production coordinator, and Phoebe and Ian were an outstanding on set tag team that emphasized the fun of filming. If you're on the fence and choosing between companies, choose Reelarc!! I like never make public reviews so it should tell you something that I'm writing this one! Side note because no process can be perfect, the filming location might be a bit out there depending on where you live, and the shuttle to get there is a little poorly organized by the navy yard (*not* reelarc), so if you have any questions or concerns about the process, ask your production coordinator!!”

“Invest In Yourself!!! From the moment you do the consultation and decide to bet on yourself, everything is set in motion. The team immediately starts to send you very informative information to get you started on this wonderful journey. You go from having an amazing dialogue with the production crew and then you get to meet and discuss the scene with the writers themselves! Once you get your scripts, that you approve, production is ramped up and your dream scenes are in the planning stages. You pick the dates to film and once on set theirs an incredible team waiting for you and everyone there has the same goal...to make you look amazing, both visually and of course artistically. The director on set was incredible and her understanding of the scene and the notes she gave during filming really took me to the next level. The cinematographer is one of the best I had the pleasure of working with ever. His knowledge was vital in bringing life to the scene. “If you’re an actor and need footage for your reel. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE BUT REELARC!!!.. once I got my footage, I submitted myself to several agencies and within 2 days I have 3 agencies wanting to meet with me. Not saying you’ll get the same results that quickly, but having this footage DEFINITELY helped with representation seeing how I look on screen with GREAT scenes… I hope this review helps someone who wasn’t sure if they should get footage or where to go to get great footage… see you guys in Hollywood 🙏🏾🙏🏾”

“I would recommend every actor, new or seasoned, to hire REELARC for their showreel. Not only was it a great experience to act as the executive producer of your own reel, but you also acquire a better understanding and appreciation for the whole craft of what us actors do. ReelArc allows you to choose your own writer to tailor something to you, then a "producer" that raises between team mates and crew. Also, you get a VERY GOOD director, DP, PA, and lastly a professional editor to color correct, sound check, and cut up the scenes you end up choosing. I paid for 3 scenes aka 3 reels all at once. I shot two reels in one day because I was in a bit of a rush to show it to a specific agent, but I recommend you spread them out - meaning, shoot in different days. I have one left, and I am so glad I did it this way, because now I know how I can get an even better product after shooting the last two AND I know what to expect. Actors: don't waste time! Get your professional reels done with REELARC - its 200% worth the money!”

“Everyone! Francesca(director) was very professional, clear about what she wanted, but also extremely helpful in helping me bring it out so it was fun working with her. Andrew (co-star) was VERY easy to work with. We clicked the moment we met and that helps a lot, and translates to one's on-screen relationship with fellow actors. The environment was generally very relaxing, no pressure, but then also professional and work-friendly to where I knew I had to do my maximum best, and that's to include the 2 gentlemen behind the camera. They were fantastic and courteous in explaining the camera angles they wanted and what positions we actors should assume/maintain”

“I had an AMAZING experience with Reelarc. From the creation of the scene to the filming and post-production...I am so impressed with the professionalism and kindness of every member of the Reelarc team. I really loved working with Arianna Marks, who had so much wisdom and common sense about the flow of the scene, and helped me so much with bouncing ideas about editing a final version. The scheduling process was a breeze, and the shooting day of was so lovely. Taylor Martorana, the director, was incredibly intelligent and succinct, and really understand the flow and tone of the scene, and knew how to guide myself and the other actor (PJ King--the best!!!). We had such a blast overall, and am so grateful I was able to use this service!!”

“EVERYONE -- the entire process -- has been really fun and easy. Arianna is very responsive and thorough. Jenny King nailed writing the scenes. Blaze and Katie -- and others on set -- made everything very collaborative and fun. I appreciated that they truly cared about the result and offered notes in a positive, productive way. I never felt rushed and never had to worry about anything but my performance. I've done scenes with other vendors and this was completely worth every penny. I'd love to help other actors with their scenes as a co-star and have signed up to submit!”

“Everyone! Again! Alex was an AMAZING partner to work with/feed off of. And, the little bits of improve made for some lovely moments at the end. The one I have in my final cut always makes me laugh. I don't have the name of the correct director on my call sheet, but he was absolutely fantastic! Even had me try the scene where I was the mean, no rules will be broken type of RA, and it gave me so much room to play with my edit of the full scene and paint with a bunch of different colors beside what I had already thought out. Also, he just made the environment so much fun to be in and laugh and bounce ideas since it was a comedic scene! . Main man Steven coming in with all of the angles and the lighting and the funny jokes as usual. Makes the whole team run smooth as butter and kept us on track! This was a fun one yall! And thank YOU Mr or Mrs. Editor! I haven't gotten to work with you, but you're the one making it all sing. “The director was on fire for my scene. Blaze really went above and beyond to sell the story. It felt creatively personal for him and when playing dark characters, even as actors it's still necessary to feel safe and comfortable and when the creatives go there with you, the work is best rendered. “Here in New York City, REELARC is known as the go-to company for actors like me, whose body of work may not be extensive enough to compile an actor's reel. They provide, at reasonable cost, a pre-written scene, photographed perfectly with a professional crew, with a well-dressed set, scene partner support and really sharp direction. For years, I've encountered REELARC scenes from a number of actors that were so "pro" that I couldn't distinguish them from actual commercial film or TV productions. I finally had the opportunity to work with them, and I'm super happy! Plus, their followup in editing and finalizing the scene ensured that we ended up with a winner. If your résumé materials are a tad thin, just contact REELARC and they'll take it from there.”

I went to REELARC hesitant to commit, but, I'm incredibly glad I did. Communication was prompt. My scenes were tailored to my strengths. Everyone I came in contact with was professional and kind. In the 6 months since I've had my reel, there has been a sharp uptick in auditions. In fact, I've had more auditions in these few months then in the past few years combined. “Every staff member of Reelarc is so friendly, helpful, detail orientated, genuinely caring and professional. I have had great results from the work we did (landing agents and opening doors with casting directors) and you can also become a part of their casting system for scenes which has extended my collaboration beyond being their client. <3”

“While I’ve never directly commissioned a piece by reelarc, I have taken part in several productions of theirs. Guy, Steven, Tom, Leah, David and Peter (the people I’ve worked with) are exceptional. They create incredible work. Don’t be fooled by the size of the equipment (but also have you seen how tiny an Arri Alexa Mini can be?) the footage they provide is the highest quality in terms of resolution/coloring/composition you can get outside of being on a full budget set. Hell, some of their material is better than what you get on full budget film and television sets. All the staff has experience working on big productions, and also know how to give a great direction to achieve the look you need. They’re collaborative, quick, and no B.S. They’re there to make you look good and do whatever they can to get the job done and help you put your best foot forward. As of now, they’re the best bang-for-your-buck you’ll get in NYC (and now apparently LA?) for reel and scene creation services. Highly recommended, and I personally look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“REELARC is one of the few ports in the storm of this crazy industry. They're a team of kind, whip-smart, compassionate people who will get you what you need. They listen well but also know how to guide clients so the deliverables are tailored, professional, and successful. You'll get gorgeous footage that always impresses! This is a team that loves actors and seeks to demystify some of the challenges of the industry - this is a team to lean on.”

“Professional, efficient and these are absolutely the loveliest, kindest, most helpful people I have come across in all of the NYC actor-support services. Every single person who works for this company has been nothing but warm and supportive! This is also said for their sister company, Actor's Launchpad. The recent updates to the membership have totally made it worth it for me, especially the professional self-tapes!”

“I was in desperate need of footage and found ReelArc. I wanted to show that I could play a detective and they wrote a great scene and paired me with a great scene partner and the scene turned out great! For my next scene I wanted to do a dark comedy ala Kathleen Turner in Serial Mom. ReelArc hit it out of the park with this one! The scene was super creepy in the best way possible. The lighting they used, the music that was added and the camera angles made me look like a total psyco mom and I have gotten lots of auditions and work just off this one scene alone. Since then ReelArc has called me in to be a scene partner for other peoples scenes and I have had such a great time shooting with the team plus I've gotten footage for all those scenes as well and they come out great as well. Thank you Tom, Jackie, and all at Reelarc and I look forward to using your services again.”

“If you’re in need of footage for your TV/film demo reels, run don’t walk to real arc . Truly a team effort from start to finish and I could not be more pleased with the results. The scripts are so original and inventive. Bravo a hundred times over! I’m not sure how many scenes can be done “on location”...but everybody I know has just been thrilled and are really getting work from the footage. (Myself included) Go Team ReelArc.”

“Hi this is Kayla Caulfield (not Brian) having trouble with my account, anyhow I just want to say how wonderful my whole experience with Reelarc was, I am not local to NY however they made it easy for me to skype my consult and even my coaching session for my scenes. Once I got to NY, I did three scenes on three consecutive days all the locations where very easy to get to and the crew and the other actors they got to do my scenes with me where just amazing, Highly recommended.”

“After a decade I decided to dive back into the film and TV acting world. The problem was all of the footage I had to use as a reel was garbage and out of date. I did a TON of research to figure out a way to get back in the game. I found three or four companies in NYC that shot scenes for actors to help build their reel. All of the companies I looked at all had somewhat fairly priced options but REELARC won me over. I had my consultation with Tom at their office on 35th st. He asked me about the previous work I had done and and what I thought was my “signal” (I love that term!) as an actor. That threw me for a min because I never thought of it that way. He helped me understand what my signal actually was and gave me a wake up call. I ended up getting a 3 scene package so I could essentially create an entirely new reel that looked like I was on prime time tv. I played a C.I.A. Agent, a murderer and a corporate douche that was being interrogated. I had sooo much fun. They wrote all of the scripts just for me and (Jackie... I think is her name) cast some great people for me to act with in my scenes. I shot all three scenes in a week and had a blast on set!! Steve was the guy who was there directing and shooting all of my scenes with..... (sorry I forgot the other persons name!). Once I wrapped my last scene I had a rough cut for all three scenes in just over a week and gave them some notes about the rough cut and they totally took care of the the things I wanted changed. Not only did they cut all of my scenes together for me so I had a new reel but they gave me a hard drive with all of my scenes and production stills. I have been getting gigs back to back and I’m positive it is because my new reel helped get me into the room to audition. I ended up with an amazing reel that cost me the same as the last two headshot sessions I had. Can’t beat that! Thank you so much to the entire team at reelarc!!!”

“If I could give more stars - I would! Everyone at Reelarc is professional, creative, and fun - making shooting with them a very easy and enjoyable process. I have been able to work with them on several scenes as a supporting scene partner and as the "main" character in three scenes that they created for me and I am so glad that I did. I had reached a point in my budding career that new and professional footage was necessary which is exactly what they provided. I now feel like I (with their help and service) took a big step in showcasing where I am as an actor and the direction(s) I would like to go. Thank you Reelarc!!!”

“Reelarc was a joy to work with, and they truly understood what I was trying to accomplish with my reel. From the concept collaboration to the final script and subsequent production, these folks are the reel (sic) deal! The result is simple: In the past 6 months, I have been cast in and shot 5 short films (and just booked another), ALL which called me in after I submitted my scenes from Reelarc. I simply would not have moved forward this quickly without them. Thank you so, so much!”

“REELARC is simply put, the real deal. Earlier in my career, I had done multiple scenes with them, both for myself and helping out other clients. Their honesty, diligence and professionalism are second to none, and there are few I would trust more with my time and money in producing a first rate scene. Guy, Tom and Steven are consummate pros, and if I ever needed a scene done, for any reason, they would be my first stop!”

“Amazing experience! I did a lot of research before selecting REELARC to produce my demo footage and I I was thrilled with the results. Tom and his dedicated, talented team take the time to make sure your scene highlights your type and skillset. The shoot was fun and extremely professional and the end result looked right out of a real TV show! Since adding my reel, I get tons more auditions (and many compliments on how great the scene looks!). With self-tapes and self-submissions becoming the casting standard, a strong demo reel is a must. This is worthy investment if you are serious about starting an acting career.”

“A stupendous company designed to enhance the driven and working actor. I shot two scene projects with them and both times I was entirely satisfied with not just the result but most importantly the process. From pre-production down to post-production, there's a level of professionalism that they exhibit that makes you feel comfortable and inclusive. Their level of creativity is admirable. I will definitely employ their services again just as I would recommend them anytime to any actor.”
