I absolutely **loved working with Katy**. She is incredibly creative and razor sharp — she notices **every single detail**, down to the slightest movement or expression. From the very beginning, she understood exactly what I expected from the scene, both tonally and visually. She was brilliant at **building tension between us as actors** and making the dynamic feel alive and urgent. The way she would adjust blocking, add subtle movements, and shape the energy of the moment made the scene feel like we were genuinely **chasing each other down in that basement**. It felt real — visceral, cinematic, and fully lived in. She helped me so much with my positioning, body language, eye work — everything. I could instantly tell she was a **true film director**, someone who has worked on professional projects and knows how to bring performances to life. Being directed by her felt like I was on a real set, filming an actual series or movie. It was **magical, inspiring, and unforgettable**. Katy is truly exceptional.

There was also **a camera operator who spoke French** — I didn’t catch his name, but it immediately made me feel comfortable and seen. It was such a thoughtful plus. He was incredibly **detail-oriented, supportive, and committed to excellence**. He would gently insist that we reshoot when he sensed I could give more, in a way that felt empowering rather than stressful. I also loved how quickly he **picked up the nuances of the set, the emotional beats, and the overall vision** — even when it was difficult for me to articulate. He understood what I was trying to achieve and helped make it real. His presence genuinely made me feel more confident, creative, and safe on set.

Scene: SPIN BURY DISTRACT

I had a **fantastic experience** with my team members — a huge shoutout to **Kate and Amanda**. Since I worked with them on all three of my scenes, I’ll give general feedback based on our collaboration. I felt incredibly **comfortable and supported** with them; they’re truly great at what they do. **Amanda** gave outstanding feedback, especially regarding sound. Since English isn’t my first language, her suggestions were extremely helpful — she could immediately hear when I mispronounced something and offered solutions that genuinely made me feel more confident and grounded in my performance. After two scenes, **Kate** really started to understand me, my personality, and my artistic intentions. She knew exactly how to guide me and help me access the emotional space of the character. Her notes were amazing — she truly brought out the best in me. I felt like she understood what I wanted from the scene and helped bring that vision to life. **Guy** was incredible — extremely professional and intentional. He knew exactly which angles to shoot to make me feel **beautiful, powerful, and cinematic**. He guided me on where to stand and which additional shots and subtle details we needed to make everything feel cohesive, as if it were part of a full episode or series. I genuinely felt like I was on a professional set with a full crew shooting a show. Most importantly, they treated me with so much **kindness, warmth, and encouragement** — and they made me feel like a star, which is always a bonus :). I truly loved working with them and would **absolutely work with them again.**
